A collaborative exhibition by five artists, combining frottage drawings with sculptural forms in diverse materials

A collaborative exhibition by five young artists. Kazutaka Shioi’s frottage drawings were conceived as the “skin,” while sculptural elements by Yusuke Akematsu (bags), Hiroki Masuzaki (jewelry), Shinichi Shibayama (furniture), and Takuya Shimazu (bonsai) formed the “bones.” Bringing together practices from different fields, the exhibition integrated their distinct forms of expression into a single work and explored new possibilities beyond the boundaries of genre.
