An iron sculpture that transforms memories of landscapes into a stone-like form

This sculpture translates memories and imagined landscapes from places the artist has visited into a stone-like silhouette constructed from iron rods. Its hollow structure allows a heavy exterior appearance to coexist with the lightness of its linear construction. The work also draws on an animistic understanding of stones as yorishiro - vessels through which spiritual presences may be invited to dwell.
