Description
An installation of cross-sections cut from fallen trees, experienced through sight and touch
Fallen trees collected from the forest were cut into slices approximately 1.5 cm thick and assembled into surfaces, with varied diameters arranged to create visual rhythm. Some sections were placed on the floor and could be walked on. The pale cross-sections provided a visual accent, while their point-like pressure and resilience underfoot offered a tactile way to re-experience the forest floor.

Description
森の倒木を輪切りにし、断面の集積を視覚と触覚で体験するインスタレーション
森で採集した倒木を約1.5cmの厚さに輪切りにし、大小の断面に強弱とリズムをつけながら面として構成したインスタレーション。複数の面の一部は床に置かれ、鑑賞者はその上を歩くことができる。木片の断面の白さによる視覚的なアクセントと、足裏に伝わる点的な触圧や弾力性によって、森の地面を視覚と触覚の双方から捉え直す。
