Description
An installation that transfers photographs of light onto plants
This installation was presented as the outcome of a one-month residency in Malaysia. Photographs taken in the jungle outside Kuala Lumpur were printed on washi paper and attached to locally growing fern leaves. By bringing Malaysian and Japanese mythologies together, the work spatializes the presence of light and the forest through the movement of the leaves.

Description
光の写真を植物に定着させたインスタレーション
1か月間のマレーシア滞在制作の成果として発表したインスタレーション。クアラルンプール郊外のジャングルで撮影した写真を和紙に印刷し、現地に生息するシダ植物に貼り付けた。マレーシアと日本の神話を重ねながら、葉の揺れとともに光と森の気配を空間化した。
