Description
A two-dimensional work composed of hand-torn fragments of forest light and open space
Photographs taken in the forest of Hulu Langat during a residency in Malaysia were printed on washi paper and torn by hand. Fragments of light are arranged together with expansive areas of open space, preserving memories of the forest's sounds, colors, and humidity. Rather than reproducing the photographed scene, the work reconstructs the landscape as it remains within the artist's body and memory.

Description
森の光を手でちぎり、余白とともに構成した平面作品
マレーシアでの滞在制作中に、フル・ランガットの森で撮影した写真を和紙に印刷し、手でちぎりながら制作した。断片化された光と大きな余白を組み合わせ、森の中で感じた音、色彩、湿度の記憶を画面に留めている。写真を再現ではなく、身体に残った風景として再構成した作品である。
