Description
A sculpture created through a dialogue with locally sourced marble
This work was produced from local marble during a sculpture symposium on Langkawi Island, Malaysia. The artist retained the stone's natural fractures and contours, shaping it through minimal intervention. Through this dialogue with the material, the sculpture explores a state in which natural form and human action coexist.

Description
現地の大理石と対話しながら制作した彫刻
マレーシア・ランカウイ島で開催された彫刻シンポジウムにおいて、現地の大理石を用いて制作した作品。石がもともと持つ割れや起伏を生かし、最小限の手仕事によって形を整えた。素材との対話を通して、自然の形と人の手による介入が共存する状態を探った。
