An iron installation that transforms drawings of stones into space

This work emerged from an artist residency in Bandung, Indonesia. Drawings made while visiting volcanoes, lakes, and limestone hills were translated into three-dimensional forms using iron rods. The installation extends the physical sensations and memories of the landscapes encountered during the residency into the surrounding space.
