Dimensional Light
A series constructed by attaching photographs of light onto iron armatures.
The light captured in the photographs clings to the iron framework, allowing the flat image to extend into the surrounding space. By merging photography with iron—materials that belong to different realms—this work presents the intangible nature of light with a newly embodied materiality. It is an attempt to offer a “three-dimensional experience” that goes beyond mere visual perception.
鉄の支持体に光の写真を貼り付けて構成したシリーズ。写真に写し取られた光は鉄の骨格にまとわりつき、平面の イメージが空間へと拡張される。直接扱えない光という存在を、写真と鉄の結合によって新たな物質性とともに提示し、視覚を超えた「立体的な経験」として体感させる試みである。
