In the summer of 2024, I participated in the "Barehands Residency" artist-in-residence program in Malaysia, spending a month creating new work. Each day was filled with inspiration. Through total immersion in my practice and meaningful exchanges with local artists and organizers, I truly felt myself growing as an artist. I am participating in BAREHANDS RESIDENCY, an artist-in-residence program in Malaysia. It was made possible with the support of various staff and organizations, with local artist Juhari Said as a mentor. The studio is located deep in the jungle, about 40 minutes drive northeast of Kuala Lumpur. I am currently working on a site-specific work related to the mythology of the Malay Archipelago. The solo exhibition will be held at the National Art Gallery of Malaysia in Langkawi.
